BJP councilor Ravinder Singh Negi delivered communal speeches while campaigning in the parks in the area “This election is a fight between Sanatan Dharam and the Muslims, it is the only fight in this country… Just like how these ‘burkhawale’ (those wearing burkha) turns out with 100% voting, making long queues in black burkha, we should also make such long queues and vote. Or else the country won’t be safe… All these parties have come together and saying that they will give all the rights to the Muslims.” He also fear-mongers with false claims that “the INDI- Alliance is saying that if a Hindu has two houses, they will give one to the Muslims.”
