Location: Anand Swaroop Arya Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Roorkee, Uttrakhand

At an event organized by Anand Swaroop Arya Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, Sudarshan News editor-in-chief Suresh Chavhanke delivered a speech rife with anti-Muslim rhetoric and fear-mongering. Chavhanke claimed that if Hindus were not the majority, “little girls would be in burkas and democracy would cease to exist,” pushing for the declaration of India as a “Hindu Rashtra” while warning of an imminent “Islamic Rashtra.” He demonized Christmas, alleging it as a period rife with religious conversions. Additionally, Chavhanke vilified Muslims, claiming they are creating “Pakistans” within India due to their continued presence post-Partition.
