At the Hindu Ekta Andolan’s Hindu Jagran Sabha, Nitesh Rane, Cabinet Minister and MLA, delivered a hate-filled speech targeting the Muslim community. He promoted the economic boycott of Muslims, urging Hindus to avoid shops run by Muslims, whom he accused of using ‘jihad money’ to fund alleged plots like ‘love jihad’ and ‘land jihad.’ Rane also spread baseless claims about Muslims aiming to make India an Islamic nation by 2047.Using anti-Muslim slurs, Rane coined the phrase “every vote against mulla” as a call to action for Hindus. Additionally, he threatened to block the Urs procession this year.
