Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad – Bajrang Dal chanted anti-Muslim slogans inside and outside a theater after a screening of Chhava. Before the movie, they held a rally and marched to the theater, shouting inflammatory slogans such as “Tel laga do, Dabar ka. Naam mitado, Babar ka!” and “Mullo ka na Qazi ka, yeh desh Veer Shivaji ka!” The protest escalated inside the theater, where the slogans continued.
