BJP leader Chotesahab Patel, at a protest rally against an alleged blade attack during a Shivratri procession, peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad” claiming they knew the identities of Muslim boys targeting Hindu girls. He also threatened to use their own bulldozers to demolish houses they claimed were encroachments, if the authorities failed to take action.
