Hindu nationalists, under the banner of Maharaja Suheldev Samman Suraksha Manch and led by Manendra Pratap Singh, climbed onto the Syed Salar Ghazi Dargah with saffron flags and raised communal slogans during Ram Navami celebrations. They have been demanding the demolition of the dargah and the construction of a Shiv temple in its place.
