At a Hindu Bhagwa rally organised on the occasion of Ram Navami, Suresh Chavhanke, the chief of Sudarshan TV, alleged that Faridabad is undergoing an “Islam-ification.” He claimed that he could provide the police with the addresses of mosques where, according to him, weapons are being stored. He declared that this country belongs to Ram, and that anyone who wishes to live here must do so at the mercy of Hindus. Far-right leader Bittu Bajrangi also promoted taking the law into one’s own hands in the name of protecting women and cows.
