Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while flagging off the Hisar-Ayodhya flight and laying the foundation stone for a new terminal, targeted the Waqf Board, describing it as a “land mafia” and accusing it of grabbing land belonging to Dalits, Adivasis, and widows. He claimed that under the new Act, the Waqf Board cannot even touch land owned by Adivasis.
