Monk Raju Das Delivers Incendiary Anti-Muslim Speech in Moradabad

Location: Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh

At a religious event, far-right preacher Raju Das delivered an incendiary anti-Muslim speech. He mocked Muslims with remarks like “three wives and seventy-three children,” accused them of engaging in terrorism, and claimed they only cared about “72 virgins.” He referred to the Quran as an “Asmani Kitab” and alleged job favoritism toward Muslims.

Das called Muslims and Christians “greedy cowards” who converted from Sanatan Dharma, and claimed to have led the ghar wapsi of 70 people in Ambedkar Nagar. He spread the conspiracy of “love jihad,” urged Hindus to “protect our women and girls,” and fear mongered about a Hindu population decline.

He incited violence by encouraging the crowd to take up arms: “Smash their faces if anyone comments on your religion.” He demanded a Hindu Rashtra and vowed to reclaim not just three but “all 30,000 temples,” rejecting the legacy of Babar, Akbar, and Humayun as “rapist mazars.”
