At the Virat Hunkar Sabha organized by Samast Hindu Samaj, BJP leader Jai Bhagwan Goyal fearmongered about an alleged “Islamisation of India,” warning that “they want to turn Bharat into another Muslim country—Ghazwa-e-Hind.” He used anti-Muslim slurs, referring to “jihadi mullahs and maulvis,” and falsely claimed that Muslims orchestrated the 2020 Delhi riots to portray themselves as victims.
Goyal urged the crowd to take up arms, invoking Hindu deities and kings as examples, and called on supporters to move beyond social media activism. He warned of “Jihadis within India” and painted a dystopian future where “Hindu women will wear burqas and Hindu men will wear skullcaps.” Raising a trishul, he declared, “Never trust these jihadis—they always kill us,” and demanded that Yogi Adityanath’s bulldozer model be implemented in Delhi.
Far-right preacher Swami Dipankar echoed the rhetoric, claiming a Hindu exodus was underway in Murshidabad and using the phrase “Bato ge to kato ge.” He too called for “bulldozer justice” against Muslims.
A Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader incited violence by telling the audience, “Don’t be hunted—be the hunter,” and added, “This is not the time to die, but to kill.”
