VHP-Bajrang Dal members staged a protest at the police station, demanding action against an interfaith couple, claiming it to be a case of “love jihad.” When the police declined to act, stating that both individuals were adults, the members argued and accused the officers of accepting bribes. Eventually, Circle Officer Susheel Dube assured them and asked them to file a complaint against the boy and his friends.
