At a protest for the Pahalgam terror attack victims organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad–Bajrang Dal, multiple speakers fearmongered about Muslims and immigrants. One speaker called for identifying and handing over “Bangladeshis and Rohingya” to the police. Another used coded language to target Muslims and secular Hindus, declaring that “traitors are among us.” Drawing parallels to Hamas, the speaker said, “These Hamas haramis have relatives in India,” and glorified violence by stating, “Learn from Hanuman—get into their homes and kill them.” The event promoted the conspiracy of ‘thook jihad,’ called for an economic boycott of Muslims, and targeted Kashmiris.
