Modi Vichar Manch Leaders Spread Love Jihad Lies; Demand Hindu Rashtra

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

During an event organised by the Narendra Modi Vichar Manch, its founder and national president, Ravi Chanakya, peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad” and made the baseless claim that the sisters of those killed in road accidents are mostly its alleged victims. Another speaker, Swadesh Nand Giri, falsely claimed that all education ministers in India since independence were Muslims, which he argued was the reason schools only taught about the Mughals. He also reiterated demands for a “Hindu Rashtra”, the renaming of all roads bearing the names of Muslim rulers, and the removal of mazars from Delhi, claiming they are illegal.
