The far-right organisation Rudrasena organised a Mahapanchayat targeting members of the Muslim Gurjar tribe, accusing them of encroaching on forest land. Its founder, Rakesh Tomar, claimed that the Gurjars had settled in the area from outside, likening them to Rohingya refugees. He also targeted Christian members of the Scheduled Caste (SC) community, calling for the withdrawal of their reservation benefits.
