Members of the Hindu Raksha Dal staged a protest targeting the Muslim community after a man was allegedly killed by a member of the minority community.
During the protest, monk Anupamanand Giri claimed that “jihadis” had begun challenging Hindus and urged Hindus to respond with “trishuls” (tridents). Another speaker demanded the demolition of the accused’s house, warning that if action was not taken, “Muslims would begin killing Hindus in their own homes.”
