Hindu nationalists led by Swami Yashveer Maharaj checked the Aadhaar cards of owners and workers at food stalls and restaurants along the upcoming Kanwar Yatra route as part of a campaign to identify their religion, alleging that non-Hindus were setting up stalls with Hindu names to mislead pilgrims.
