Sakal Hindu Samaj staged a protest against the elopement of an interfaith couple, labelling it “love jihad.” They raised slogans peddling the conspiracy theory and demanded the accused be hanged. While submitting a memorandum, a leader alleged that Muslims receive foreign funding to engage in “love jihad” and buy expensive bikes, and demanded an investigation into the community.
