At a Bharatiya Janata Party meeting on the Sona Eldhose case, BJP leader PC George fearmongered about women being under threat from the ‘love jihad’ conspiracy and accused the police of inaction in communist-ruled Kerala. He alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stayed silent despite hundreds of girls going missing. While spreading the anti-Muslim conspiracy of ‘love jihad’, he demanded an NIA probe and urged Kerala Police to make non-bailable arrests.
