At a Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh gathering, State General Secretary Digvijay Singh Rana delivered a speech warning against conversions allegedly carried out by Muslims and Christian missionaries. He claimed that if Yogi Adityanath became Prime Minister, “within 24 hours all Muslims would become Hindu.” He urged Hindus to boycott Muslims and missionaries economically, stating that their businesses would not survive. He further said the Constitution would not protect Hindus, arguing that only “hardline Hindutva and weapons” would, and urged parents to teach their children how to wield weapons when necessary.
