At the inauguration of a Hanuman Chalisa Center by the Hindu Raksha Dal, a speaker outlined the organisation’s goals, calling on Hindus to become kattar (radical) and strong to prevent their families from “falling into love jihad” and to protect cows. He urged the audience to stop cow slaughter “even if it means cutting off the hands of butchers or catching them” to protect cows. He peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” alleging that Muslims are targeting Hindu sisters and daughters, and said that Hindus must protect them and bring back victims through Ghar Wapsi. He declared, “Even if we have to fight or kill, we will not let love jihad happen — this is for the honour of Hindu sisters, daughters, and society.” He further claimed that “they hide their names, change their appearance, wear a tilak,” and urged vigilance and collective action.
