In Baraut, Sadhvi Prachi Calls Muslims ‘Terrorists,’ Pushes ‘Love Jihad,’ and Urges Hindus to Radicalise

Location: Baraut, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh

During a public address, Sadhvi Prachi targeted Muslims and spoke against religious conversions and “love jihad.” She commented on the Delhi bomb blast, alleging that all the accused were converted Hindus, and referred to Muslims as “chalak” (cunning) and a “vivadit qaum” (contentious community), calling them “ignorant, ill-mannered, and terrorists.” She questioned why people say “not all Muslims are terrorists” when “all terrorists are always Muslim.” Invoking Partition, she criticised “religion-based institutions” and accused the government of endangering Hindus by allowing institutions like Al-Falah University. She urged Hindus to become “kattar” (radical) to protect their dharm and Hindu women, and raised demographic concerns, claiming that Muslim families receive government incentives and have larger families, while Hindus are criticised for having four children. Prachi encouraged attendees to form committees to address “love jihad” and religious conversions, and urged women to involve their daughters in events and nationalist organisations such as Durga Vahini to instill Hindu nationalist values.
