VHP–Bajrang Dal members raided construction sites and threatened Muslim workers, declaring that “no Miya will be allowed to work in Nalbari.” They also warned employers, accusing them of protecting “Miyas,” and told them they would supply Hindu labourers, urging them to hire Hindus even at a higher cost.
