At a Sant Samman Samaroh organised by the Pitamah Foundation, BJP MLA Balamukund Acharya declared that idols of their gods would be “reinstated” at Krishna Janmabhoomi and Kashi Vishwanath, and further claimed that idols would be placed at the Qutub Minar, the Red Fort, and at Sambhal. He fearmongered about the Muslim population, using the phrase “chacha’s four begums and 36 children.” Citing the recent blast in Delhi, he added that an “anpadh, jahil, gawar mulla” causes a population explosion, and alleged that if a Muslim is educated or a doctor, he “explodes bombs” and can do nothing beyond that.
