In Mumbai, Nitesh Rane Orders ‘Rohingya-Bangladeshis’ to Leave City

Location: Khurja, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh

AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal leader Gaurav Raghav delivered a speech targeting Muslims, referring to them as “sons of dogs.” He claimed that their Hindu ancestors endured violence, “greed from wolves,” and coercion but refused to convert, while the descendants of the “weak” and “cowardly” had allegedly left the religion. He invoked historical figures such as Aurangzeb, Maharana Pratap, Bappa Rawal, and Muhammad Ghori, glorifying violence against Muslim rulers and alleging that “invaders” were defeated and sent to “72 hoors.” He used dehumanising slurs against Muslims, accused them of temple destruction, cow slaughter, “love jihad,” and anti-national activities. He portrayed Muslims as an existential threat, asserting that due to Hindu unity and strength, no “jihadi” could harm Hindu women, cows, or homes. Another speaker reinforced these claims, warning that any “jihadi” nearby should hide. He referenced the reported violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, with threats of retaliatory acts of violence if similar events occurred in India, claiming “Hindus will be the ones to beat and win.”
