Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, speaking at an organisational meeting, fearmongered over an alleged decline in the Hindu population, claiming that wherever they have declined, they have been killed. He called for the maintenance of a “Hindu majority” and demanded a population control law, and promoted the campaign “3 bache hindu sache.” He asserted it as a means to “regulate” the growth of the Muslim population to maintain the majority and ensure Hindu safety.
