A leader of the Hindu Raksha Dal has been arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district after a video surfaced showing him allegedly abusing and threatening a Muslim gas agency owner, including calling him a “Bangladeshi” and using anti-Muslim slurs.
The incident took place in the district’s Khurja city, where the accused, identified as Neetu Yadav, allegedly confronted Khalid Miyan, who runs an LPG gas agency.
In the viral video, Khalid is seen standing with folded hands while Yadav verbally abuses and threatens him.
According to Khalid, the altercation began after Yadav demanded that one of his associates be given a gas cylinder without standing in line.
“There are government rules that gas is provided only to those who have a valid booking. When I cited the rules, he called me a Bangladeshi and later came to the agency and insulted me,” Khalid said.
