Jatiyo Sangrami Sena leader Ridip Deka stopped and threatened a Bengali-speaking Muslim worker, telling him to return to his home district or else face assault. He also stopped a Muslim hawker from Uttar Pradesh, alleging that “people like him” were surveying the area under the guise of selling goods.
