Unmillon Bordoloi stopped and harassed a Bengali-origin Muslim hawker, claiming that “they” come to do business and then settle in the area. He also called the contractor employing the hawker, alleging that the man was from West Bengal and may have escaped due to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in the state.
