In Mainpuri, Mahant Raju Das Calls Muslims ‘Demons’ and Urges Hindus to Be Extremists

During the Hindu Sammelan, far-right monk Mahant Raju Das delivered an anti-Muslim hate speech, referring to Muslims as “demons,” “children of pig,” and “assailants.” He spoke against religious harmony and claimed that “one who eats cows can never be my brother.” He fearmongered over Muslim population and promoted anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “thook jihad,” and religious conversion. He urged Hindus to be extremists and gave the chant “be Kali, be Durga but never be a burqa-wali.”
