Kali Sena members staged a protest against a mosque, claiming it to be illegal and demanding its seizure. Kali Sena leader Ajay Kaptaan asserted that Hindus have to pay a heavy price for communal harmony and alleged that Hindu girls are being exploited. He claimed that 14,000 girls have disappeared and accused Muslims from outside the state of eloping with them. He further alleged that a demographic change is being carried out in the state and peddled the conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “vyapar jihad.”
