In a controversial video that surfaced on social media on Sunday, May 3, Mohit Chaudhary, National Secretary of the Bhagwa Gau Raksha Samiti, urged Hindus in Hodal town of Haryana to economically boycott Muslim-owned businesses.
Chaudhary confronted a local honey vendor named Qutbuddin, questioning the “purity” and “cleanliness” of his products.
He alleged that such vendors mix their saliva and urine into the honey, asking people, “When they adulterate this honey by mixing it with their saliva and urine before selling it, can you truly place your trust in such a product?”
He appealed to all Sanatanis and Hindus to stop purchasing anything from individuals with Muslim-sounding names or identifiers. “Whether the name is Qutbuddin, Sukmuddin, or anyone with a surname like Khan, or any other marker indicating they are Muslim, you must boycott them completely,” Chaudhary said. “Do not buy even a single item from them.”
The leader further advised against hiring Muslims as labourers for any work, including masonry or repairs. He claimed their “reign of terror” had reached an extreme level and insisted there was “no room” for Muslim concerns, only space for Sanatanis. He repeatedly encouraged people to buy exclusively from “Hindu brethren.”
While addressing the vendor, Chaudhary issued a stern warning: “From now on, if I see you in this area again, I will leave you bloodied.”
The video has sparked widespread discussion on social media regarding communal tensions, economic boycotts, and religious polarisation in the region.
