A group of 100–150 unidentified persons attacked Muslim youths who had gathered to break their fast (iftar), assaulting them with sticks and rods and injuring several. Police registered a case based on a complaint by Feroz Sayyad, identified multiple suspects, and launched a search for the attackers.
