During the Hindu Sammelan, far-right monk Divyanand Maharaj led the gathering in pledging their bodies, minds, and wealth (tan-man-dhan) to the establishment of a “Hindu Rashtra.” He vowed that the community would not rest or sit patiently until India is officially transformed into a “Hindu State.” He also warned that if anyone “raises a hand” against Hindus, Bajrangis would break their hands and gouge out their eyes.
