VHP-Bajrang Dal staged a protest against “love jihad,” where several speakers peddled the conspiracy theory. One speaker urged Hindus to wear a necklace with a “pig’s tooth” pendant and display it to Muslims to make them “run away,” and claimed that Muslims have the “habit of producing children like pigs.” Another speaker called on Hindus to avoid any form of relationship with Muslims, alleging that even acquaintances carry a “jihadi mentality” and target Hindu women. A third speaker further promoted the conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad.”
