At a Hindu Janjagruti Samiti event held under the “Safe Daughter, Safe Nation” campaign against “corporate jihad” and “love jihad,” Shefali Vaidya, a far-right author and speaker, spread conspiracies including “corporate jihad,” “love jihad,” and “land jihad”; Ramesh Shinde spread conspiracies including “corporate jihad,” “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad”; demonised students of Al-Falah University; and claimed these alleged “jihads” stem from Islam.
