During an event, Hindu nationalist singer Kanhaiya Mittal called for a country where “neither Hindus are divided nor cows are slaughtered.” He claimed that some people live in India, benefit from its resources, but behave like the “descendants of Aurangzeb” and refuse to chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” He further alleged that devotional music has been corrupted by “descendants of Babur” with no connection to “Bholenath,” and stated that religious conversion to Christianity displeases ancestors. He alleged that “Bangladeshis and Rohingyas” are infiltrating the country, disguising themselves as Hindus to befriend Hindu women and target them. He urged Aadhaar-based identity verification and called on women to “be like Durga, be like Kali, but never be burqewali.”
