Hindu Raksha Dal organised a Bhandara (free meal service), during which its leader, Bhupender “Pinki” Chaudhury, referred to Muslims as “mulla” and refused to serve food to a Muslim individual. He stated that “Mulla should not come here, no Muslim should eat our food,” and asserted that only Hindus would be served food.
