At a spiritual event, Suresh Chavanke, Editor-in-Chief of Sudarshan News, fearmongered about the alleged “Islamisation” of Hindu pilgrimage centres including Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain, and Nashik, claimed Muslims are rapidly increasing in population and taking control of these places, and alleged that infiltrators from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Myanmar are being settled in India with the support of mosques.
