At an Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal meeting, Rashtriya Bajrang Dal leader Vishal Rana alias Thakur Vishal Singh peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad,” and claimed that “mulla” use commercial activities to spread jihad. He warned that unless Hindus mobilised, jihadis and Christian missionaries would become more active and urged attendees to bring at least 10 people to join them. He also mocked those mourning Iran’s Supreme Leader, calling him the “father of jihadis.” Another speaker fearmongered over demographic change, claimed Muslim-majority areas were increasing, and warned that Muslims were targeting Hindu women and carrying out deceptive religious conversions. Invoking Hindu historical figures, he called for vigilance and claimed that if such acts continued, Hindus would have no place to go and Haridwar would gradually become Muslim-majority.
