During a Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya contrasted Sanatan practices with those of “vidharmis,” claiming Hindus avoid harming even an ant while “vidharmis” slaughter animals during festivals, referring to the upcoming Eid al-Adha, describing them as having a “rakshasi swabhav” (demonic nature). He warned that Sanatan must stand for religion and nation or risk becoming like the 57 countries of the “chadar-wale” and “topi-wale” or the 110 countries of the “father-wale” and “missionaries.” He fearmongered over demographic change, claiming Hindus follow “Hum do hamara ek,” while another community follows “four wives and 36 children,” alleging that once these “36 children” come and surround Hindus, they would lose their homes, businesses, and livelihoods. He further alleged that wherever the population of “vidharmis” increases, temples are attacked, women are targeted, and people are forced to wear a “topi.” He urged Hindu vigilance and higher birth rates, claiming this would ensure border security and prevent entry of “Bangladeshi and Rohingya” along with “vidharmi” and “terrorists” from Pakistan and Karachi.
