At a Bhagwat Katha, far-right monk Madhuram Sharan Shiva, leader of the armed monks’ group Shiva Shakti Akhada, asserted that those who do not carry weapons have their religious scriptures torn apart. He criticised those who prioritise wealth instead of preparing “dharm yodhas” to defend the religion. He also urged Hindu mothers to raise children who can both study and fight, warning that otherwise “enemies” would come to loot and beat them.
