Members of the VHP–Bajrang Dal, led by Aman Swedia, harassed an interfaith couple, accusing them of “love jihad.” They demanded the marriage certificate and harassed the woman over living with her partner, alleging that someone had approached them claiming that the male partner was engaged to his sister. However, the claim was denied by the woman and the man’s family.
