Around 20 Muslim families in Arala village announced their decision to leave the village following a series of alleged attacks, threats, and harassment by Hindutva groups and fellow villagers. Community members demanded protection and justice, claiming they had faced sustained targeting for several years by individuals affiliated with organisations such as the RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The families had planned a march to seek justice before district officials intervened and requested that their demands be submitted in writing. Residents also expressed fears of further violence ahead of a Hindu Jan Akrosh Morcha led by far-right leaders Sangram Jagtap and Sangram Bapu Bhandare.
