Vikas Chaturvedi, president of the Rashtriya Hindu Sher Sena, referred to the recent demolition of an alleged “illegal” madrasa and asserted that maulvis in madrasas and mosques teach “jihad” and regard Hindus as “kafirs.” He alleged that the ancestors of all Muslims were Hindu and had been forcibly converted, arguing that Hindus therefore cannot be considered “kafirs.” He described himself and his associates as “gundas” rather than leaders and threatened violence, stating that if Muslims showed “gundai” (hooliganism), “their generations would be wiped out.” He peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad” and warned that if Muslim men targeted Hindu women, he would “drag them out of their graves,” adding that anyone who troubled or suppressed Hindus “would not be spared.” He further declared that while those who engage in “jihad” are eager to reach “jannat” and “72 hoors,” he was even more eager to send them there.
