At the Amar Ujala Dialogue Program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the dissolution of the Madrasa Board, alleging that madrasas promote a “500-year-old mullawadi and radical mindset.” He claimed that over 250 allegedly “illegal” madrasas had been closed and accused them of misleading children and fostering “anti-national” activities. He also highlighted his government’s efforts to preserve the state’s “devatva” (divine character) and “original identity,” asserting that action against alleged illegal encroachments was necessary to prevent demographic imbalance and protect the future of the state’s children.
