BJP leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra, while addressing a gathering at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan, called for driving out all “Bangladeshi ghuspaith (infiltrators).” Supporting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, he urged attendees to get their votes verified and report the presence of any “Bangladeshi or Rohingya” in their neighbourhoods, stating that they should “meet the same end as Mamata Banerjee’s jihadis” in Bengal and “free Delhi from ghuspaithiya.” He described this pledge as “out of syllabus but necessary.”
