Far-right speaker Pushpendra Kulshreshtha, speaking at a Virat Hindu Sammelan, claimed that the idea that India is as much a land for Muslims as it is for Hindus is “a lie.” He promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad” and dismissed the idea of “secularism.” He also claimed that there is a 450-year-old Shivling behind the Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi. He asserted that Sanatan is the only religion that has existed since the creation of the universe and will continue to exist.
