At a gathering, far-right monk Yati Narsinghanand Giri derogatorily referred to Muslims as “do kodi ke pagal adamkhore kutte” (“worthless, rabid, man-eating dogs”). He alleged that Muslims were encroaching on Hindu land, claiming such encroachments threatened the existence of Hindus. He vowed to personally take up arms to resist any attempt to seize Hindu land and urged Hindus to support those “fighting,” declaring that “no warrior can fight alone.” He further described Hindus as the world’s greatest “ideological” warriors against Islam and said future Hindu generations would honour the Hindus of Kharkhauda for their struggle.
