Hindu nationalist supporters Kapil Kumar and Vikky assaulted a Muslim man in a park after two girls alleged that he had been following them and trying to get close to them. The assailants alleged that he had been secretly filming the girls; however, the man repeatedly pleaded that he was innocent. They continued assaulting him despite the girls asking them to stop and later handed him over to the police.
