Following a raid led by cow vigilantes associated with Shivshankar Swami, authorities demolished an alleged illegal slaughterhouse and shed built on agricultural land in Medad village. Days earlier, the cow vigilantes, accompanied by police, had raided the facility, claiming to have found cattle, meat, bloodstains, and equipment allegedly used for slaughter. After sustained pressure and complaints from the vigilantes, the administration used JCB machines to demolish the slaughterhouse and associated structures.
